The OCD Skills Lab
Build Skills. Take Control.
Feel like OCD is running the show—looping thoughts, rituals, and second-guessing? You’re not alone. It’s exhausting and isolating, but it doesn’t have to define your life.
The OCD Skills Lab is a live, virtual, six-week class where you’ll learn ERP-informed strategies to face fears, reduce compulsions, and handle spikes with confidence. Whether you’re complementing ongoing therapy or taking your first step into skills work, you’ll leave each session with clear, practical tools to use right away. Open to ages 18+ located in Maryland, Washington, D.C., or Virginia at the time of class.
What You’ll Learn
This live, skills-based class teaches practical, ERP-informed strategies you can apply in daily life. It is educational and not a form of therapy or medical treatment.
- Understand OCD & the cycle. Identify triggers, loops, and safety behaviors—and see how uncertainty fuels the cycle so you can begin to interrupt it.
- Learn ERP principles. Explore how exposure and response prevention works, and practice applying its core ideas in a structured, skills-focused way.
- Build your toolkit. Leave each week with practical tools: a personal exposure ladder, an SOS plan for flare-ups, a 10-minute daily routine, and a relapse-prevention checklist.
- Grow confidence. Track small wins, measure progress, and strengthen self-trust as you practice these skills step by step.
- Practice with support. Learn alongside peers in a structured, encouraging class environment with clear privacy and participation guidelines.
About the Class
Who it’s designed for:
