Evidence-Based Therapy That Creates Lasting Change
When life feels heavy with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, the weight of previous trauma, or disconnection in your relationships and sexuality, Annie offers a grounded and compassionate space to begin healing. Sessions with Annie combine relational warmth with evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Gottman Method couples counseling to help you make lasting change.
Who Annie Works With: Specialized Support for Your Unique Journey
Annie works with teens (16+), adults, and couples to help cope with anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relational issues. Whether you’re struggling with racing thoughts and panic attacks, intrusive obsessions and compulsions, processing painful past experiences, or navigating challenges in your relationships, Annie provides individualized support tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Annie has a special passion for maternal mental health, serving those experiencing pregnancy loss, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. She understands that this journey can bring complex emotions—grief, anxiety, joy, and overwhelm—often all at once. Annie provides compassionate, specialized support to help you navigate the physical, emotional, and relational changes of this transformative time, working together to find balance, healing, and a sense of empowerment as you move forward.
Annie cares deeply about the intersection of sexual functioning and mental health and is a sex-positive and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. She wants to support people as they navigate the mental components of their sexuality, specifically those with low desire and sexual pain. In a world that often struggles to talk openly about sex, Annie hopes to create an open and supportive space to explore those parts of your story.
A Therapeutic Approach That Feels Safe and Empowering
Her therapeutic style is grounded in the goal of helping clients feel safe and empowered in their bodies, minds, and relationships. Sessions with Annie are collaborative and supportive, helping you build insight, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with yourself. Annie strives to provide clients with tangible coping skills and tools that can be utilized outside of session.
Clinically, Annie utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety, and Gottman Method couples counseling. She operates under an attachment theory-based framework in session and will often work with a client to find ties between early experiences and current relationship beliefs. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and Annie will use an integrative approach that is tailored to your goals and needs in therapy.
