An Authentic, Holistic Therapist for Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Self-Worth, and Life Transitions
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by self-criticism, or stuck in old relational patterns, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Sera Havrilla offers therapy that feels real, collaborative, and grounded in your unique experience. Her warm, human approach creates space for you to feel fully seen and genuinely supported.
Sera works with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. She brings a special focus to clients who’ve had negative therapy experiences in the past and are looking for something more grounded and authentic this time around. Many of her clients are highly insightful, often taking care of others, and ready to start prioritizing themselves.
Clinical Focus
Sera specializes in supporting individuals who often show up for everyone else—while silently struggling with self-doubt, overwhelm, or chronic stress. Whether you’re working through generalized anxiety, OCD, low self-worth, or just trying to quiet your inner critic, Sera helps clients build self-compassion and find a steadier sense of confidence.
For clients living with OCD, Sera provides evidence-based treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These approaches help clients understand and challenge the reasoning patterns that fuel obsessive doubts, while gradually reducing compulsive behaviors. Whether you’re dealing with contamination fears, intrusive thoughts, or other OCD presentations, Sera creates a supportive environment where you can work at your own pace toward meaningful change.
She frequently works with clients dealing with perfectionism, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Together, you’ll explore where these patterns come from, how they’re reinforced in daily life, and how to replace them with healthier, more self-honoring ways of showing up in the world.
Sera also loves working with elder daughters—those who’ve grown up with pressure to be “the responsible one” and who are now navigating exhaustion, emotional burnout, or identity confusion in adulthood. Her work supports clients in shifting relational roles, finding their voice, and learning how to take up space without guilt.
Therapeutic Approach
Sera’s approach is relational, holistic, and flexible. She knows that healing doesn’t happen through advice-giving—it happens in safe, authentic connection. Her sessions are collaborative and down-to-earth, built around what matters most to you and grounded in a strong therapeutic alliance.
Clinically, she draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), strengths-based work, assertiveness training, mindfulness, and a holistic understanding of well-being. She considers how self-care, movement, nutrition, sleep, and relationships interact with emotional health, and she supports clients in weaving practical change into everyday life.
Most importantly, Sera shows up as a real person. Her sense of humor, authenticity, and warmth help clients feel at ease while doing meaningful therapeutic work. If you’ve struggled in past therapy to feel connected or understood, working with Sera may feel like the reset you’ve been looking for.
