She also specializes in helping mothers during the perinatal and postpartum periods. Nina understands the unique challenges and emotional shifts that can occur throughout pregnancy and after childbirth, offering support that empowers them to navigate these transitions with confidence and compassion.
Additionally, Nina has extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, offering affirming care for individuals exploring or navigating their gender identity and sexual orientation. She is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment where clients can openly discuss their experiences, develop greater self-acceptance, and strengthen their sense of identity.

Nina uses a blend of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to meet each client’s unique needs. By integrating Feminist Therapy, Multicultural Counseling, and Person-Centered Therapy, she ensures that every session is respectful of the client’s values, culture, and identity. Nina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from Montclair State University and her Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Outside of her work, Nina enjoys practicing yoga, exploring thrift stores, drinking tea, and curling up with a great book.
